Setting Specific Goals and Executing
The road to success must be paved...

The implementation phase refers to the break down of the plan into actionable pieces that will be delegated to the members of the team that will deliver to a deadline. The strategic direction and priorities as laid out in the validated strategy are looked at from the perspectives of the different areas involved, from graphic design, to the marketing message, to the specific actions desired of the customers visiting the website, to the flexibility of device access, to the color patterns for the psychology of the target market, to the support requirements, and management requirements.

Plans are drawn and delivered so each area will know specifically what is to be done and by when. So to speak, if the strategy was to build three office locations, the implementation stage is about creating the blueprints, and master production schedules for the first, second, and third offices, obtaining the required permits, and hiring the Contractors for the fire sprinkler system, the electrical, plumbing, carpentry, flooring, air conditioning, and painting.

At the end of the implementation step, the plan is delivered in place. Each team member has Specific, Measurable, Actionable, Realistic, Time-framed (SMART) goals, so the work will be completed on schedule.
